Cuncolim mishap: man succumbs to injuries

The labourer who had sustained burn injuries two days ago at the Cuncolim Industrial Estate succumbed to his injuries at the Goa Medical College and hospital, Bambolim on Saturday.
Cuncolim police informed that Basu Bhartiya had sustained 80 per cent burn injuries while he was working in a steel unit.
Meanwhile, the Maina Curtorim police has registered a case of unnatural death following the death of one Vincent Vaz, aged 32 at Curtorim on Saturday.
PSI Navlesh Desai said that Vincent’s body was dead at Cavotem-Curtorim and has ruled out foul play.
The body was later referred to the Hospicio hospital for post mortem examination.
The police are investigating.
