Based on projections from August 2026, the opposition INDIA bloc holds a narrow lead over the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) if Lok Sabha elections were conducted today.
According to the survey’s seat-share estimates, the INDIA bloc is projected to secure 41 out of Uttar Pradesh’s 80 parliamentary seats. The NDA follows closely with a projected 38 seats, while a single seat is expected to go to a party outside both major coalitions. This projection represents a marked change from the January survey, which showed the NDA maintaining a dominant position across the state.
