MARGAO: The Cuncolim police have registered an offence against Galet Alfonso, a driver from Maxem, Canacona, for driving in a rash and negligent manner, resulting in the death of rickshaw driver Suresh Chipan from Tisk-Usgao, Ponda. According to the police, the incident occurred when the accused, while driving a car at high speed from Canacona towards Margao, allegedly struck Suresh Chipan, who was standing behind his parked rickshaw.
