PANJIM: Goa’s squash sensation Yash Fadte continued his dream run in the 26th Asian Junior Squash Championship following his straight set win over Sri Lanka’s Druvinka Pereira to enter the quarter-finals, in Macau, on Thursday.
Yash had a walk in the park with a 11-3, 11-1 and 11-5 – straight sets win over his opponent. He will meet India’s Tushar Shahni in the last-eight match.
Earlier, the Vasco-based lad defeated China’s No. 1 player Zhou Penglin in straight sets. He beat the host nation player in a 11-1, 11-1, 11-3.
