Tension at Zuarinagar over trailer using internal road

VASCO: Tension prevailed at MES College residential area in Zuarinagar, after agitated residents stopped a trailer truck when it was trying to use the 10-metre-wide internal road leading to the college. 
According to the information, the incident was reported on Tuesday evening when a few concerned residents living in various residential colonies of MES College residential area in Zuarinagar noticed sudden traffic jam on the internal road. 
As a trailer truck carrying a JCB machine could not pass through the narrow internal road and was seen damaging overhead electricity wires, they immediately alerted other residents including deputy Sarpanch of Sancoale Nandini Desai. The angry residents stopped the trailer truck driver and staged a demonstration demanding that police take strict action against the transporter for illegally using narrow road.
 and posing risk to residents.
The drama continued for over an hour and a team of Verna police rushed to the site to control the situation. It was only after the assurance given by police that locals released the trailer.
While raising strong objection over the movement of heavy vehicles though internal road the deputy sarpanch said despite warning, transportation did not stop. 
Meanwhile, after the protest, Verna police summoned the concerned transport company as well as construction company officials and warned them not to use the internal road from the four-lane highway junction to MES College.
