rnSporting Club of Davorlim defeated St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda 2-0 to move ahead in 14th Holy Cross soccer tournament, organised by Holy Cross Sports Club, at Vodlemoll ground, Kakoda, on Thursday.
rnVenson Figueredo effort from the penalty area was on target in the 27th minute, settling the ball into the nets, to open an account for for Davorlim.
rnSoon in a couple of minutes, Davorlim got a free kick, which Romeo Colaco successfully converted it into a goal to double the lead.
