PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa has directed PWD junior engineer posted at Usgao to visit the village till May 6, to monitor the water situation in the village and to file a report.
The junior engineer has been asked to visit Usgao village along with the petitioner and other villagers, whose names the petitioner will provide to the junior engineer.

Adv Siddharth Samant said that there was no serious water supply issue at Usgao and that the water is being regularly supplied to the villagers.
An affidavit will be filed, placing on record necessary facts in response to the averments made in the petition, he added.
The petitioner Rohan Naik’s counsel Adv Nigel da Costa Frias maintained that the water supply at Usgao was irregular and the villagers were not receiving regular water supply.
