The relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis relic was brought to St Anthony Church at Vakola, Santa Cruz in Mumbai on Saturday. Goans from across the state will head to Mumbai to seek blessing from the Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis, who is being hailed as the first millennial saint. The first-class relic arrived in Mumbai from Assisi in Italy on Oct 2.
Diagnosed with leukaemia, Carlo offered his sufferings to God for the intentions of the sitting pope—Benedict XVI—and the entire Church. Carlo died in 2006 and was beatified in 2020.
