Judicial court credit society opened at Margao

The South Goa Judicial Court Employees Cooperative Credit Society Ltd was inaugurated on Saturday in the premises of the District and Sessions court building here this morning.
District and Sessions Judge U V Bakre, Additional Sessions Judges P V Sawaikar and Desmond D’Costa along with other judges and staff members were present at the inauguration ceremony.
In his address, additional sessions Judge P V Sawaikar said the inauguration of the cooperative credit society is a momentous occasion and hoped that the members of the society ensure that the plant grows into a tree.
“We should be happy that because of sustained efforts, the society is finally born. I hope that it grows into a nice tree”, he said.
Additional Sessions Judge Desmond D’Costa said that cooperation is the essence of society and reminded the members of the society that to cooperate means to work with each other. He said the society will not only help members obtain loans, but gives encouragements to save deposits in the society.
“Cooperation is the essence of society. We always require cooperation. To cooperate is to work with each other. Each for all and all for each should be the guiding motto while running the affairs of the society”, Judge D’Costa added.
Sessions Judge U V Bakre wished the newly-launched society all success.
