MAPUSA: Undaunted by two goals Milagres Sports Club rallied from behind to hold Goan Warriors Football Club (GWFC) to a 2-2 draw in the GFA’s Third Division League football match, at Duler Stadium, here on Monday.
GWFC went into the breather with a two goal cushion where in the 22nd minute Mahableshwar Harijan put GWFC ahead by heading home Manjunath Rathod’s cross.
Minutes before the half time whistle Mahableshwar further increased the tally for GWFC when on getting hold of the ball he made no mistake to tap it home, 2-0.
On resumption, Milagres SC took the field with renewed vigour and found the equalizer in the 52nd minute through Shailesh Misquin while a minute before the final whistle, Shaliesh brought in the precious equaliser for Milagres SC to make it 2-2.
At Nachinola ground, Sirsaim SCC breezed past Sinquerim sports club by a 3-0 margin.
Gideon Divi, Newton Fernandes and Johnson Fernandes scored for Sirsaim.
At Chapora ground, ABC Arambol hammered Chapora YS by 7-0 win.
Omkar Satelkar netted in a hat-trick for the winners while Joseph Fernandes netted a brace, with Sectus Britto and Kevin Fernandes scoring one each.
