Yamaha appoints Yukimine Tsuji as India business head

World's leading bike maker Yamaha Motor Corporation today said it has appointed Yukimine Tsuji as its Indian arm's new CEO and MD.

World’s leading bike maker Yamaha Motor Corporation today said it has appointed Yukimine Tsuji as its Indian arm’s new CEO and MD.

Yukimine Tsuji, currently the manufacturing head at India Yamaha Motors Ltd (IYM), takes over from Tsutomu Mabuchi, the company said in a statement.

The company has also appointed Koji Arai as director, sales and marketing.

IYM, which operates state-of-the-art-manufacturing units at Surajpur in Uttar Pradesh and Faridabad in Haryana, produces motorcycles both for domestic and export markets.

It has outlined a planned capital investment of Rs 560 crore for new initiatives in marketing and products.
