Agnelo Naik defeated Diljeet Velingkar 9/11, 11/8, 5/11, 10/12, 13/11, 13/11 to clinch his maiden major career title annexing the men’s championship at first All-Goa Blanche Gouveia memorial major ranking TT tournament organised by Youth Sports Club of Colvale at Colvale church hall.
Alisha Afonso emerged victorious in the ladies category. In the Bardez Taluka Level amateur men’s championship, Daniel Pinto overcame young Pranav Naik.
Noel Estibeiro, Yash Naik and Kefira Rodriguese won prizes.
Fr Jhonsie Pereira was the chief guest. Domnic Pereira welcomed.
