Quepem: The body of the 16-year-old science student Rajat Suresh Naik from Curchorem, who jumped into the Zuari River at Curchorem on Tuesday, was retrieved on Wednesday after the Indian Navy joined the search operation.
The search operation continued for at least 4-5 hours and around 12.30 pm when an ore-laden barge passed at the particular spot, the teenager’s body was seen floating. It may be recalled that the student from Curchorem was feared drowned after jumping into the Zuari River, at Curchorem, on Tuesday.
