MARGAO: Former tourism minister Francisco Xavier alias Mickky Pacheco on Wednesday visited the Colva police station for what the police termed a routine enquiry. Police Inspector Filomeno Costa pointed out that the complaint lodged against Mickky was a non-cognisable one and hence his statement was not required.
However, Mickky talking to media persons said his statement with regards to the complaint lodged against him was recorded at the police station. He reiterated that he had done nothing wrong and said let the law take its own course.
Mickky also repeated that the complaint, who is married to a foreigner, is carrying business without taking licence or permission from any government authority nor is paying tax to any government agency.
