He appealed the management of various industries to maintain good relations with their workers and added that in order to bring about a change in the society, there should be a change in mindset so that the goal of progress can be achieved.
He was speaking at the Workers’ Education Day and Hindi Day celebrations organised by National Board For Workers Education and Development ( Ministry of labour and Employment Government of India) at its Regional Directorate office at Ponda.
Regional Advisory Committee chairman Adv Hridaynath Shirodkar, M P Singh, plant head of the CMPPL company at Pissurlem, and Mohan Sen, Education Officer Programme Incharge were present.
Vishnu Shetgaonkar, Assistant Traffic Inspector of KTC was felicitated for his contribution towards board work. Various schemes such as Samajik Surkasha Yojna, Sukanya Samrudi Yojna, Atal Pension etc. were introduced to workers.
