Corruption simply runs in the genes of all Indians and it’s a practical hard fact that most of them just don’t get tired running after money as they forever show hunger or greed for more.
I think that the main reason why most Indians (whether it is rich or poor) are historically forced to promote corruption in this country then that’s because they habitually have to live to fulfill a lot of demands and personal needs of their families just to impress society. For e.g. every family living in India traditionally go to celebrate their numerous festivals/family celebrations with a big bang compulsorily buying huge gold, go to show-off their wealth in public by displaying costly jewellery over their bodies, wearing the best of clothes, using the best of mobiles, constructing the best of houses, roaming in the best of costly cars etc. Now, to indulge in all these, from where will the poor people especially bring money and why will they ever say ‘no’ to corruption in this country when they are deliberately made to struggle even to make two ends meet by our respective governments through harsh taxes? I therefore strongly feel that it is due to the above mentioned practical lavish lifestyles that we see most Indians habitually demanding bribes and making money through corrupt means not just in government offices but almost everywhere in this country.
Secondly, if Indians are historically seen hiding their money and refusing to part even with half by way of taxes then that’s because they have always seen their own elected leaders looting this country using public funds for years right in front of their nose and due to which till date are simply seen refusing to trust such elected dishonest Indian leaders.
I think that our Indian leaders should first make all our efforts to improve the living condition of all the poor, eradicate poverty/hunger completely and then dream of winning a war against black money/corruption without even carrying their useless futile exercises like demonetization in this country.
