A tourist-driven rental car veered out of control and collided with an electricity pole along the Parra ‘Madani’ road on Friday evening. The force of the impact caused the pole to topple, resulting in a power outage and shrouding the entire area in darkness.
Allegedly, the driver was reportedly recording a video while driving, raising concerns about distracted driving as a potential cause of the accident. The collision not only disrupted the power supply but also posed a significant safety hazard in the vicinity.
