Deficit in rainfall due to delayed monsoon: IMD

PANJIM: The delayed arrival of the Southwest monsoon in Goa has led to a deficit of 26 per cent in rainfall so far. The monsoon hit Goa on June 8, four days late, as it had been forecast to arrive on June 4.
