PANJIM: Banking transactions will be affected as the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has decided to go ahead with strike on November 12, in support of a wage hike and other demands.
According to the UFBU, talks with Indian Banks Association and the Labour Commissioner had failed to resolve the issue. The UFBU said wage revision for bank employees was due from November 1, 2012.
