As one drives along the road in Goa one comes across various road signs. These road signs are present in particular colours.
However, it is seen that at times two different sign boards have the same colour code. In the two photos it is seen that the road sign for the ‘Bus-Bay’ and the ‘Keep Left’ road-sign are in blue colour.
This creates confusion in the mind of the driver, since from a distance the driver may not be sure what the road sign depicts and a car could enter the bus-bay.
It is desirable for various road signs to have different colour code. In western countries even the median on the roads and the parking lot are painted in different colour combination.
However, in Goa one sees that all medians on the roads and the parking lots are painted in black-yellow combination.
Different colour codes are essential on our roads. It makes driving by following the road-signs that much easier.
