Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat joined the people in celebrating Holi in the Commercial capital on Wednesday as the festival of colours was marked by traditional pomp and gaiety.
Kamat played Holi in the city as he came to offer the sacred coconut at the Pimpalkatta on Wednesday morning. Hundreds of Holi revelers participated in the religious festivity at the Pimpalkatta since morning as they took out a procession from the centre to temples across the city.
Drenched in a riot of colours, Holi revelers were seen moving around in jeeps and motorcycle around the city, celebrating the festival of colours.
A large number of North Indians celebrated the festival with traditional pomp across the Commercial capital.
