The 17 and a half-year-old girl left her home at Dehra Dun on March 15 after answering the final paper of the 12th standard Board examination and she along with her boyfriend reportedly went to Delhi first from where they came to Goa to get married.
The boyfriend, 27-year-old Vivek Ijeek reportedly works as an agent or broker for the Road Transport Office there and had fallen in love with the Muslim girl who is his neighbour in Dehra Dun. The duo fled after she answered her last 12th standard paper because the girl was worried that her parents would forcibly marry her off to somebody else.
