The rains have stopped but flooding of road continues

It’s been more than a fortnight since the South West Monsoon has receded. However, a section of the road is seen flooded on a regular basis.
The road in question is the road intersection on the Agassaim side of the Zuari Bridge. The road has developed large craters due to the flooding.
This is a busy intersection as the traffic going on the Zuari Bridge and those moving towards Agassaim from the bridge have to pass through this intersection. One fails to understand how the flooding takes place when there are no rains.
The authority concerned needs to take necessary steps to stop the water flowing on to the road as it causes inconvenience to the motorists passing this way.
