CALANGUTE: Frequent power outages, especially after dusk, have been causing severe inconvenience to residents in Verem.
According to one resident, power supply has been regularly going off at night and is restored only the next morning, causing hardship to residents.
When contacted, the Junior Engineer of Candolim Electricity sub-station office Mr Shaikh claimed that his office had not been made aware of the problem faced by residents in Verem but promised to resolve the problem.
