QUEPEM: The fish and vegetable vendors prefer roadside business rather than considering facilities provided by Quepem Municipal Council in the Tilamol market.
At Tilamol area, which comes under Quepem municipality jurisdiction, there is fish market for fish and vegetable vendors but they prefer doing business by sitting roadside near the junction.

According to a source, these vendors pay Rs 20 per day to the panchayat to sit by the roadside. A local fish vendor mentioned that nowadays all fish vendors do business by the roadside on Quepem -Kudchade road and nobody wants to sit in the fish market, so we also prefer the roadside business.
Roberto Estibeiro, who does business of selling Chicken at Tilamol Fish Market Complex, said that for the last one and half years nobody prefers to sit in the Tilamol fish market and do business, it is totally empty now.
