Salgaocar Trophy football at Saligao

The 21st late V.M. Salgaocar Trophy inter-village football tournament organised by Saligao Sporting Club will get underway on April 4 at Sporting ground, Saligao.
In the inaugural match, Nerul Sports Club will clash with Sodiem Siolim Sports Club.
The other teams taking part in the tournament are Parish Youth Nuvem, Quitula Sports Club, Sinquerim Sports Club, Chinchinim Villagers Union, St. Savio Sports Club Calangute, United Club of Nerul, Candolim Sports Club, Betalbatim Sports Club, Sangolda Lightning, U.C. Benaulim, Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Arpora Sporting Club, Navelim Villagers Union and hosts Saligao Sporting Club.
Matches will kick off at 4.45 p.m.
The tournament has been recognised by Goa Football Association and will be played based on rules for private tournaments.
