NEW DELHI, JAN 19
AIFF XI were unlucky not to gain full points in their Round X match of I – League as they were held goalless by JCT at Gurgaon on Wednesday.
In another match in Pune, HAL scored a narrow 1-0 win over Pune FC.
Jagaba Amaba scored the match-winner in the 32nd for the Bangalore team.
It was AIFF XI who had maximum possession in the entire match. Though JCT did show some excellent moves in patches they could not convert chances with their foreigners. Amandeep had  some  brilliant  runs on the right flank and was rightly named man-of-the match.
AIFF XI on the other hand whose average age is just about 18 and-a-half did not capitalize on the chances with the culprits being Fela and Jeje,  but full credit to the boys for containing the JCT strikers. Jagroop as usual did a marvelous job under the bar thwarting JCT efforts.
