In the wake of the flooding of fields due to the breach of bundhs during this monsoon, a lot of damage and hardships have been caused to the people. Goa Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik stated that once the monsoons are over his department would start taking up work on the bundhs that were broken. He announced that govt would be starting an agricultural college at Old Goa. He also announced other initiatives in agriculture.
