Our Lady of Snows High School, Raia and Manovikas English Medium School, Margao recorded victories in the Salcete Taluka Under-14 Subroto Mukherjee inter-school football tournament organised at Government ground, Manora, Raia on Monday.
Snows scored an emphatic 5-0 win over Holy Spirit High School, Margao. Leading by a goal at the lemon break, Savio Gomes scored a hat-trick while Franoy Fernandes and Maurice Fernandes accounted one each.
Manovikas defeated Mae Dos Pobres HS, Nuvem 3-1. Chanil Gomes scored a brace for Manovikas while Wyrner Carneiro added his name in the scorer’s list. Samson Pereira reduced the margin for the losers.
