Vice President visit to State: No parking along VVIP route

PANJIM: The Traffic Police has banned parking of vehicles along the VVIP route from INS Hansa Museum Gate at Vasco to Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula in view of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu’s visit to Goa on January 9. 

A press release issued by Traffic SP Arvind Gawas bans parking of vehicles along VVIP route from INS Hansa Museum Gate to Raj Bhavan via Bogmalo Road — Bogmalo Junction — Airport Junction — Chicalim Circle — Chicalim Panchayat — Cortalim Junction — Agassaim Junction — Siridao — GMC Bambolim — Merces Circle — KTC — Divja Circle — DBB Marg — Miramar Circle — Jack Sequeira Road — NIO Circle — Raj Bhavan Road on January 9 and 16.

Likewise, on January 9 and January 12, no vehicle should be parked along the VVIP route from Raj Bhavan to O’Coqueiro Circle via NIO Circle — Miramar Circle — DBB Marg — Divja Circle — old Mandovi Bridge — Hero Honda Circle — NH 66 — Jevottam Muth, Porvorim. 

The release also mentions that to facilitate smooth passage of VVIP Carcade traffic will be stopped at various points well in advance from security point of view. 

The Vice President is in Goa from January 9 to 16.
