BICHOLIM: Bordem residents have complained that due to a pipeline burst huge amount of raw water is being wasted daily at Shanta Colony for the past many days and blamed the PWD for failing to repair the pipeline.
According to the residents, a lot of water is getting wasted for the past many days on account of the pipeline burst.
“Despite informing the PWD, they have not taken any action to repair the pipeline” Raghu Bordekar, a resident complained.
As per the locals, they had submitted an application informing the PWD on the water wastage.
“On one side, the taps are running dry and there is no drinking water in several parts of Bicholim, while here huge amount of raw water is being wasted for last many days. The authorities should do immediately act and repair the pipeline,” demanded another resident R Kawlekar.
