VAGATOR: The management of Antares Restaurant and Beach Club issued a statement thanking those who came to their aid during the unfortunate fire incident on Wednesday at Small Vagator, Ozran.
The accidental fire started in a neighboring plot and then quickly spread to the roof of the restaurant and engulfed the top floor of Antares. It is estimated that Antares Restaurant and Beach Club suffered a loss of property worth over Rs 50 lakh.
Further investigation in the matter is being carried out. The management is thankful that there were no casualties to guests or staff as the restaurant was shut for the day.
The management thanked the Goa Fire Department, their staff and neighbours from the adjoining restaurants who came to the aid of Antares in bringing the situation to a swift end and without tragedy.
