PANJIM: As part of digitisation process, the new power connection application and the marriage registration process will go online from November 16.
Power Minister Nilesh Cabral informed that to bring about transparency and do away with corruption allegation the non-commercial new electrical connection process will go online from November 16.

“The applicants will have to fill the application online and upload the scanned documents and get an acknowledgement. Thereafter, the junior engineer will come for inspection and produce the payment demand, which again has to be paid online,” he said.
This, Cabral said will bring about transparency in the working of Electricity Department.
Similarly, he said the marriage registration process will also go online from November 16.
He said, “The applicants will have to make applications online and pay the prescribed fees and choose date and time.”
