On January 14, 2021 it was suggested that new traffic signals are needed at a few crucial places along the D B Marg, Panjim, near Bal Bhavan/Campal Ganesh, Directorate of Health Services/Inox Road, Panjim market and old secretariat.
At these locations, three or more roads intersect and it is difficult to cross the roads.

It was a glad sight to see that after more than a year, traffic signals have been recently fixed near the market but unfortunately not operational.
Hopefully, the signals would be erected at the other sites too, within this year! Since December 2021, the signals near Kala Academy are not functional while the new ones near Divja Circle work as per their wish and whim.
There appears to be pathological problems with most of the traffic signals in Goa and these need to be addressed by the authorities.
