AGONDA: Krishna Velip was elected unopposed as the sarpanch of Khola panchayat on Thursday.
The post had fallen vacant after the previous sarpanch Ajay Pagi had tendered his resignation last month. “Improving water distribution, hot-mixing internal roads, arranging street lamps and resolving garbage issues in the panchayat will be my priority,” said Krishna Velip.

Deputy sarpanch Babu alias Pandhari Prabhudesai, panch members Ajay Pagi, Tejal Pagi, Krupesh Velip, Pradnya Kamat, Prabhakar Vaij and Priyanka Velip were present for the meeting.
BDO Bhiva Velip presided over the special meeting .
