PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda blanked Pax of Nagoa 4-0, in the Goa Football Associations U-16 League match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, on Sunday.
Don Bosco Oratory opened the scoring in the 18th minute through Edison Dias who calmly slotted the ball home past the Pax of Nagoa keeper. The lead was doubled in the 23rd minute as Jordan Azavedo scored a beauty before the break.
Post resumption, the rejuvenated Don Bosco side scored yet another through Jordan Faleiro in the 62nd minute before Saveton Rebello made it 4-0 in the injury time.
In another match at Artificial Turf, Fatorda, Sirlim Sports Club edged past AA de Majorda 3-2.
Maulalli Mulla scored in the 7th minute for Sirlim but the joy didnt last long as the Majorda equalised in the 32nd minute through Lawren Fernandes and doubled the lead in the 35th minute as Debendra Pun calmly slotted the ball home for the Majorda outfit..
After the break, Sirlim SC scored equaliser in the 46th minute as Aggarali Dhalayat made no mistake to tap the ball home before Dezlan Passanha scored the match winner just before full-time.
