PANJIM: NGO Savera has demanded that the Police Department conduct workshops creating awareness on the growing cyber crime amongst members of the younger generation in schools.
Addressing media persons on Wednesday, Savera’s Tara Kerkar said the recent workshop conducted by Cyber Crime Cell SP Karthik Kashyap creating awareness amongst NGOs on the issue was real ‘eye opener’.
“We were told in detail of how cyber crime happens and how our younger generation is vulnerable to it,” Kerkar said, adding that such workshops should be conducted across the State for school students so that they don’t remain vulnerable. The NGO has extended its support in conducting the workshop.
