MARGAO: One of the two youngsters injured in the Raia road accident that occurred on Wednesday evening has succumbed to his injures at the Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim, early Thursday morning.
Maina-Curtorim Police station in-charge PI Harish Madkaikar said that injured Mark Luis, who had sustained serious injuries in the accident, has breathed his last in the hospital.
He said the police have registered the case as an accident and further investigation is on.
Mark Luis and Dheeraj Rodrigues were injured after their scooter hit the road divider and landed on an incoming Innova vehicle in the opposite lane.
Meanwhile, Curtorim MLA Reginaldo Lourenco has demanded that the government take up repair and widening work of the killer road.
