BICHOLIM: Water to several places in Bicholim was disrupted after power supply breakdown at Padosem water treatment plant.
The SMC chairperson, Raya Parsekar; councillor, Dharmesh Saglani and others visited the plant and took stock of the situation.

Since yesterday several places in Bicholim, Sanquelim and Bardez area suffered as there was no water supply and taps going dry.
As per the report there is power supply breakdown since yesterday evening. Work is going on and it was told that the water will probably resume at 5 pm.
“It will take at least 6 hours for water to be treated later on and get into the reservoir. Later after release of water it will take at least 4 hours for 600mm and 400mm pipeline to fill before reaching the houses”, the authorities informed.
However, the authorities later informed that there will be restricted water supply on Wednesday also.
