Curchorem: Curchorem Front and Goa Forward leaders stepped in to fill a dangerous pothole at Assolda after several accidents were reportedly linked to the damaged stretch of road.
The pothole had reportedly been repaired a few days ago using a jet patcher, but the repair soon deteriorated, leaving the road hazardous for motorists. Despite the worsening condition, no further action was reportedly taken.

The safety concerns came to the fore two days ago when two girls reportedly fell from their vehicle after hitting the pothole.
Goa Forward leaders said several roads in Curchorem continue to remain in poor condition, alleging that pothole repairs at various locations have largely been temporary.
They claimed that while potholes have been filled in several areas, the roads continue to remain unsafe and difficult for motorists to navigate, and called for more durable repairs to address the recurring problem.
