The Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested one Nepali and seized 1.575 kg of charas from him, in a raid conducted this afternoon.
According to PI Ashish Shirodkar, the ANC acting on a tip-off arrested the Nepali from near St Alex Church in Calangute.
The Nepali named Lok Bahadur, 45, is working as a security guard in a hotel at Candolim, had come to the spot to deliver the charas to some customer.
The charas seized is worth Rs 1.57 lakh, Shirodkar said.
The raid was conducted by PI Ashish Shirodkar along with PSI Lavlin Dias, Dina Mandrekar, Saish Pokle and Abhay Palekar.
