MARGAO: The South Goa Additional District and Sessions Court, Margao has ordered framing of charges against Babu Naik Talwar, 51 of Carmona, who was arrested for attempt to murder.
Talwar had attempted to commit murder of Peter Naik with a sharp weapon causing serious injuries. He was arrested by the Colva police and was later chargesheeted under sections 504 and 307 of IPC.

The incident occurred on September 9, 2019 in a rented room at D’Mellowaddo, Carmona. The accused allegedly abused complainant Sangeeta Naik and her son Peter Naik with filthy words and further assaulted Peter with a knife causing him serious injuries.
Sessions Judge Vincent D’Silva in his order observed that statements of the witnesses show the involvement of the accused in the said crime.
