Rosary HS score mammoth win; Perpetual Succour HS end YFA Warriors winning streak

MARGAO: Rosary HS Navelim scored the biggest win of the League as they beat Child Care School by 17-0 in the 2nd Chowgule Sports Centre U-10 Futsal league organised by Youth Futsal Academy, at Chowgule Sports Centre, on Friday. 
Man-of-the-Match Manthan Sanzuke scored eight goals while Sam Pereira scored a triple hat-trick for the winners.
The Kings School struggled against lowly placed Infant Jesus HS, Colva before churning out a hard fought 2-1 victory. 
Pranay Rivankar opened the scoring before Man-of-the-Match Sanjay Katari equalised for IJHS. The brave defending and goalkeeping kept Infant Jesus HS in the match but a late goal by Pranay Rivankar broke Colva side’s hearts.
Perpetual Succour Convent HS, Navelim leaped over YFA Warriors as they handed the hosts their first defeat of the league in a high tempo contest in round 10. Warriors skipper Vardaan Pathania had a splendid outing and opened the scoring for YFA Warriors from the spot in the first half. Sherlock Dias equalised for Perpetual with a well struck free-kick at the start of the second half and an own goal from an acute angle midway through the second half was enough to give Perpetual all three points.
Regina Martyrum HS, Assolna beat Bloomz International 6-2 in a mid-table clash. Brac Fernandes with a hat-trick, Man-of-the-Match Chrysler Simoes scored a brace while Mathew Noronha scored one. For Bloomz, Elrich and Elroy D’silva were the scorers. 
Marina English took a big leap towards the semi-finals as they beat Manovikas EMS 4-0. Johan Abranches got a brace, Rizbeen Dcosta and Addison Fernandes got a goal each for the winners. Aaron Pinto was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match.
