AGENCIES, KANPUR: Centuries from Mohammad Saif and Akshdeep Nath led another dominant day for Uttar Pradesh against Goa. UP finished the day on 473 for 3, losing just two wickets and now lead Goa by 321 runs, at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.
After Madhav Kaushik missed his century by eight runs, Saif brought up his second First-Class hundred off 225 balls and partnered Akshdeep Nath in a 123-run stand for the third wicket.
Saif was eventually dismissed by Felix Alemao but the joy of his departure for Goa was short-lived.
Nath took control of the innings and brought up his century off 169 balls.
He went past his previous highest score of 110 to remain unbeaten on 155.
He and Priyam Garg inflicted further misery on Goa with an unbeaten 181-run partnership.
