MAPUSA: The Colvale police arrested Joniton D’Souza (39) for allegedly killing his father-in-law Denise Paul Dais (64) at their residence in Tivim.

Police stated that the accused was residing along with his family at his father-in-law’s residence for a long time and the victim was not too happy about it and and wanted him to leave his place often resulting into heated arguments.
However, on Saturday, the accused brutally assaulted his father-in-law and kicked him on his private parts thereby murdering him.
Colvale police have registered an offence under section 302 of the IPC. The accused Joniton was arrested and produced before the JMFC court where he was remanded to four days in police custody.
