PANJIM: Bringing some respite to the sweltering heat, Goa is likely to receive rains or thundershowers on Wednesday, May 11, the MET department predicted.
The daily weather report issued by the meteorological department (MET) for the State on Monday predicted that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Goa on Wednesday.
“Dry weather is very likely to prevail for the remaining days of the week,” the report said. Goa recorded a maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius on Monday, which was 0.3 degrees higher than Sunday, the MET said.
