After crossing the ferry at the Chorao-Ribandar ferry on Thursday night, I noticed pits dug dangerously with only a barricade tape to warn motorists. The pit is more than 2m deep and is not clearly visible to motorists passing at night. There has to be physical barriers at the pit warning motorists alongwith reflectors to prevent a ghastly accident like the one that happened before. Smart City officials are being careless about the lives of citizens.
