Yash lashes out at Delhi for taxes on industry

The 41st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) was declared open by the Union Minister for Railways Mamata Banerjee amid some fireworks from the legendry filmmaker Yash Chopra.
Chopra indirectly took a potshot at the poor infrastructure in the State for the organisation of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
The filmmaker also criticised the amount of taxes being levied on the film industry, which he said is making it virtually very tough to produce a film in the country.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Chopra started with the words that the State has done well so far from the year 2004 when it first hosted IFFI.
However, he continued, much needs to be done to improve the standard of infrastructure for IFFI.
