Margao: Threatening to file a complaint over the emails sent from Goa to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who is undergoing treatment in the US, the Congress said that it will seek an inquiry in this regard.
“Who is sending these emails to the CM? “Supposedly a doctor from Panjim is sending these mails from Panjim. All this is illegal,” the Congress alleged.
Addressing a press briefing, Congress Spokesperson Siddhanath Buyao in the presence of South Goa Block President Joe Dias and Margao Block President Gopal Naik, said, “We request that the plaques at Opinion Poll Square in Fatorda be removed and taken to Ravindra Bhavan or Collectorate to protect them from the rains” urged Buyao.
The Congress also urged that police deployed at the Opinion Poll Square be posted at the spots they are most needed.
The Jana Gana Mana Nomon Tuka Goenkara Yatra will proceed to Navelim, Velim, Chinchinim, Cuncolim and Curtorim.
He said, “The success of the yatra has sent the BJP haywire as the saffron party members have failed to realise what to speak and where?”
Buyao also mocked the BJP for having no second run leadership and claimed that the saffron party has to import politicians from other parties.
