CALANGUTE: Sangolda Lightning beat Hosts Pilerne Sports Club 4-3 on penalties to book their place in the finals of 20th Pilerne Panchayat Cup All-Goa inter-village football tournament at Pilerne grounds on Friday.
After a goalless draw at the end of regulation time, the winners were decided on penalties.
Sangolda beat Pilerne by 4-3. Nikhil Naik, Yogesh Mayekar, Mahendra and Joseph D’Costa scored for winners while Royston Pereira, Ryan Pereira and Reagan Pereira were on target for Pilerne.
